HAR?

themed by Cherrie H.

taking, singing, folding notes

Who wants to take me to New York anytime between November 16-January 13? Anybody? Oh well.

Broadway is the only reason I ever wanted to live in the USA. What are the chances that Patti and Mandy are gonna do a show here? Slim to none. Oh, if only…

But I am not so sad.. This year has been a musical theater saturated year. First I watched Rent last February, then came Stage Camp, then Aida, Sweet Charity, In the Heights, Little Shop of Horrors, Noli me Tangere.. Damn! And the year isn’t over! I still haven’t seen Seussical the Musical, Peter Pan, Next to Normal, and the one I am looking forward to the most: The Sound of Music!!! You can’t deny that theater is very much alive in our country. And the local actors, directors and the crew are doing a marvelous job.

Treat yourself to a musical before the year ends. But don’t be sad if you can’t go for some reason. I’m pretty sure the theater companies are planning their next batch of shows for next year already.

There must be an easy way to find nailpolish like this in the Philippines. Hey if any of you find marble type nailpolish or maybe you wanna send me some from wherever you are, I’d gladly take ‘em off your hands.

Sometimes life’s gonna hit you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love, and that is as true for work as it is for your lovers. Your work is gonna fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking and don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years go on. So keep looking. Don’t settle.
